Nature of the Service

This private resource points readers toward Hampden County release records, HCSO contacts, Massachusetts custody and supervision sources, and third-party research tools. It does not hold official records. It cannot confirm custody, cause a release, post bail, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must be lawful and must not interfere with the service or harm another person. You agree that you will not:

• Break a law or assist unlawful conduct through the site.
• Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or target another person.
• Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
• Attempt to bypass access controls or enter systems without authorization.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish a background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. You may not use information found here or through a linked tool for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, housing access, or lease decisions.

Hampden County Released Inmates does not control an outside service’s content, availability, results, security, data practices, or prices. Review that provider’s terms before using it.

• Any fact, record, or contact detail is complete, accurate, or current.
• The site will operate without interruption.
• The code or service will be free from errors or security weaknesses.
• A partner search will return every relevant record.

Custody statuses and government records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from HCSO, MA DOC, a court, or another government body.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent Massachusetts law permits, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, the site’s original text, graphics, logo treatment, and code belong to Hampden County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or alter those materials without written permission, except where law allows.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time, and a revision takes effect when posted. Access may also be suspended, limited, or ended at any time, with or without notice, when the operator considers that action necessary.

Massachusetts Law Controls

Massachusetts law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Massachusetts.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the extent required to make it enforceable.
